A B&B in a Swedish farmhouse

The bed and breakfast of the Swedish couple Johan Nilsson and Ulrika Hall is located in Skane, outside Stockamöllam in southern Sweden.
At the same time this couple, with their 2 children, lives in this beautiful 18th century farm, and runs an antiques business.

The mood is one of rustic simplicity, crackling fires burn in every hearth, candles cast a flickering glow over the textured walls and evergreen foliage gathered from the woodlands brings the hues of nature inside, with an all-white palette that lifts the spirits on even the darkest of days.
The house is built in a vernacular style from brick and timber.

Small potted firs add a green flourish.
.
The couple wanted to keep everything as authentic as possible and then stamp their own style with carefully chosen furniture and accessories.

It has low wooden-ceilinged rooms.

Candles and chandeliers and sconces light every room from breakfast to supper, while there are 6 different fire places.

Traditional Swedish china.

The white colour theme is continued with pieces of painted Gustavian furniture but nothing too decorative or elaborately carved.
The day bed is piled with pale accessories.

A stone bust suits the serene atmosphere.

Candles cast a warm glow.

Natural table in the garden room.

Beautiful detail.

A seasonal still life.

Even the main bedroom is in a white palette.
In this charming Swedish farmhouse you will find antiques, modern design and a decorative interior.
Year around bed and breakfast and a summer café in a relaxing environment.
