This brand new 2011 Volvo XC60, a carryover of 2010 model, can be determined as a sporty coupe and a capable all-roader fused into a Swedish crossover experience. The 2011 XC60 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in 4 trims, and they are 3.2, 3.2 R-Design, T6 AWD, T6 AWD R-Design. This new Volvo XC60 will feature both petrol and diesel variants.
Out of these two main variants, 3.2 and T6 AWD, Volvo XC60 3.2 is equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, with a power of 240 @ 6200 rpm and torque of 236 @ 3200 rpm that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. Volvo XC60 T6 AWD R-Design is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, with a power of 300 @ 5600 rpm and torque of 325 @ 1500-4800 rpm that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
The main notable feature of this new 2011 Volvo XC60 is that it boasts of an Automatic Braking System (ABS) for city safety, which includes an assembly of a laser and a camera, which will reduce the rate of collisions drastically. The SUV reaches from 0 to 100km/hr in just 7.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 210 km/hr.
