Meet Fay

 

A few days ago I discovered the new blog “A MELANGE ET MOI”, which I really love to visit! Fay, the author is English, but is living in Florence, Italy, for the past two years (she was living in London and Paris before)! She is such a very nice person! And her blogposts are so delightful!

So I definitely wanted to introduce you to Fay!

A surprising morning !

Dear readers, as I am a subscriber of A SCHEMATIC LIFE, the blog from the interior designer Michelle Morelan, this morning I was reading my emails and what did I discover??? A post of Michelle with the title : Greet’s Office -The Video Tutorial .

I was so surprised and so happy with this rendering of my office, Michelle posted! Incredible to see how Michelle is making all those steps to realize this wonderful rendering! In fact I am always surprised by Michelle’s wonderful drawings and sketches! She is so talented.

When I discovered the blog of Céline, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I was perplexed by all these gorgeous aquarelles.

Céline lives in Auxerre in France. She grew up in a family of artists, illustrators and graphic designers.

She became an illustrator of children’s books for 15 years.

In 2005 Céline returned to her passion of youth sketches and watercolors. She is specialized in architectural design and interiors.

She also became the illustrator of the collection “Carrés de France”, the books of Editions Equinoxe.

Visiting her blog, you will discover watercolors of the most wonderful places in France.

Céline made some beautiful watercolors of Auxerre, the place were she lives.

This week I discovered a new Italian blog , called  MAISON CHARMANTE.

Unfortunately Ididn’t found the name of the author yet. But I enjoyed her posts!

The author is living in Tuscany and tells a lot about the work at her home in progress .

And a totally different subject I want to bring up today is about young piano players in my family!

Yes my family counts a lot of piano players. My mother plays the piano, my father did, my brother does, my uncle does,…

And now I want you to meet the youngest two piano players of our family:

My nephew Alex, who is the son of my brother and my youngest nephew Justin, who is my sister’s son.

Both of them have to do their examination within a couple of days! By posting a picture and a video of them on my blog I would encourage them and wishing these boys good luck with the examination!

Alex, who is 14 years old plays the piano for about 4 years now.

Unfortunately I have no video clip of Alex playing the piano.

Justin who is 11 years old plays the piano for 2 years now.

A few things to know

A few days ago my friend Brooke from Velvet and Linen, did an amazing post! She told about a client’s room design she did together with her husband Steve!  Well, I was so impressed  that I wanted to mention this here and to advise you to go to see her post! I know that a lot of you have seen it already but maybe you should go see it for a second time! I LOOVVEE Brooke’s design of this room!!!

I assume that everything started with this beautiful Swedish cabinet Brooke found. So she begged her clients to buy it!

Isn’t it a gorgeous piece of furniture?

 

So Brooke’s husband Steve started to make a drawing of the room! Do you notice the Swedish Cabinet on the right of the chimney ?!

And here the cabinet is finally brought into the room!

 

  I might think that Brooke’s clients are proud now with this room and that they really are happy to have followed Brooke’s advice to buy the cabinet!
