Mumbai, Feb. 24 -- Preity Zinta's sabbatical from Bollywood isn't coming to an end anytime soon. Lately, reports have been rife that the actor has signed Mahesh Manjrekar's next, White. But PZ, as the actor is better known, clarifies that she hasn't green-lighted any new Bollywood project yet.
The Veer Zaara actor has, in fact, gone on to clarify the status on her Twitter account too. "I have not signed White. I have just read the script, so I don't know where this news has come from." said Zinta on the micro-blogging website. Sources insist that Zinta liked the script but she isn't going to take up any film project till the Indian Premier League 4 (IPL) gets over in May. "These days, Preity has her hands full with the IPL team, Kings XI Punjab, and her new TV show (Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega on Colors)," says a source.
It's believed that the role in Manjrekar's film is a challenging one about a woman, who goes through several shades in life, right from her 20s to 60s. But the actor isn't sure if she can focus completely on the film right now.
For the uninitiated, Zinta's last Bollywood outing was an item number in Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor dud Main Aur Mrs Khanna (2009). Her other film, Jahnu Barua's Harr Pall co-starring actor Shiney Ahuja, has been stuck for a long time now.
Incidentally, Zinta was also in the news recently for having bagged a role in Yash Raj Films' next Mere Brother Ki Dulhan starring Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif. But Zinta denied the news.
